Why not look into some of the "used" office furniture stores…they have GOOD QUALITY items (used in banks and off lease) that are often reasonably priced. Try it…we bought furniture for my wifes office in one of them and I can’t remember the name…but look in the YP or on line for them.

Yes, you should absolutely start with Craigslist and I would also try ebay. Lastly, depending on how much money you are trying to get and whether or not you are willing to pay a small fee, I believe Almost Free Furniture (I think their domain is almostfreefurniture.com and there is also a link on my site) will let you list used furniture with them as well as buy it.

While online is usually best for selling used anything these days, you should also look at what print resources you have available: local papers, local trade publications, and even local physical message boards for announcements, etc. (check supermarket entries).

There’s a lot of good places to purchase high end furniture, you can check out stores in your local area. You could even order high end furniture online. Check online to see what deals are around, you could purchase high-end contemporary office furniture if you buy it in bulk. Look at some of these sites to get some ideas http://www.dwr.com and http://www.boconcept.com. Hope that helps.

look at scratch and dent furniture sale stores. you can great stuff there that has small flaws, but usually not noticeable
